Ian points out that T-Mobile is offering a pay per day plan in addition to its traditional pay as you go service. It’s a dollar per day, only on days you use the phone. You get unlimited nights, starting at 7 p.m., though it looks like daytime weekend hours are billed as peak time. Unlimited mobile to mobile is included as well. Anytime minute are 10 cents a pop. So it looks like the major carriers are getting a bit more serious about prepaid offerings. Currently, the prepaid divisions of the four major carriers — AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Boost (for Sprint) — have $1/day plans which give you unlimited mobile to mobile. I suppose T-Mobile falls a little short here, then, since they’re still under the 30 million subscriber mark. ]]>

i think the pay by the day plan is very good i have had it since the summer it works very well you do not have to worry about money being deducted from your account unless you use the phone
I have it and its great 🙂
The plan is reasonable, except that voicemail calls are not included in the unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile calling. Therefore you pay 10c a minute for those, which is a rip off!
..unless you use your phone…..That means..MAKING or RECEIVING CALLS,or HAVING THE PHONE ON..?……..If I keep my phone on.but don’t make neither receive any call, will they charge me $2.00?….
