This November, Cricket introduced its holiday promotions for the year. “The merrier carrier” is offering new customers two smartphones for free, and two at a discounted rates when they activate on Cricket’s services.
This is a
limited time offer— while supplies last, so its unclear when it will end, and the offer does not include ports from AT&T. Other than that, you would just need to stay on Cricket’s service for 30 days after paying for the first month up front, otherwise there will be a $25 restocking fee for your device.

Cricket has a number of other phones available for purchase, some are basic phones but most are smartphones. In fact, Cricket pretty much always has specials on its phones— a number of phones are listed as free for customers who port in their own number, not as a holiday special, including the Microsoft Lumia 650. Cricket has
plans starting at $30 a month, taxes and fees included, working up to $70 a month ($65 with autopay). All plans include unlimited talk, text, and data, though the data is tethered to 2G speeds after your allotment is used.
