The Christmas season can be hard if you have loved ones who live abroad, and getting a package through customs can be quite the hassle. If you’re looking for a good gift for a loved one overseas, then why not gift minutes for their phone so you can keep in contact year-round?
Mobile Recharge recently
announced that their top-up service can now be accessed through an app, so you can reload minutes to overseas (and local) phone accounts anytime, anywhere.
To use this service, you have to make a free account on their website and from there you can recharge international prepaid phones with just a few steps. You can pay for refills with a credit or debit card, or you can use PayPal to process the transaction, and the minutes should show up fairly quickly. There is, of course, a fee for using the service, depending on how much you load on each account, but Mobile Recharge seems to have deals pretty frequently for additional minutes and discounts, so it could easily cancel out the fees.
