Sync Your Files Easily with Odysee

Normally, apps aren’t something that I write a whole lot about simply because there are so many of them, it’s hard to choose. However, today I’m going to make an exception to write about a new app that was just launched last week. The app, called Odysee, is aimed at smartphone photographers and videographers with storage problems. Available for iOS right now, the app is currently in beta testing for Android phones. So, what does it do? Well, unlike many apps which will store files remotely on an insecure cloud, this app allows for photos and videos to be backed up to your personal computer via the internet. It is compatible with both Mac and PCs and allows for instant sharing between two phones as well as quick uploading to social networking sites. The app is free, and the first year of service is free. After that, users will have to pay $5 per year to use the service–which is really pretty affordable. The app is still on the rise, though, and the makers said that they will need at last 3 million users to subscribe to keep the price point at $5. Otherwise, it might be slightly  more.  ]]>
