I think it’s time to update the prepaid review to include Page Plus’ new Talk -n- Text plan. You get 1500 minutes AND 1500 text for just $39.95 a month. Nice, right?

I am extremely satisfied with this service. I’ve had it for about a year and $25 for 300 minutes, with no other fees and lasts 120 days, can’t be beat. The phone I purchased isn’t the greatest and wouldn’t get another one but the service is the cheapest around!

I’ve been using Page Plus for over a month, and the service is awesome! I live 30 miles south of Nashville, TN, and I’ve never had a problem. The best part is that I’m also saving lots of $$$ with no contract or commitment. A friend gave me her old Verizon phone, and with a call to customer service, I was ready to go. I just wish I could give Page Plus 10 stars!

Highly recommended (for those that only need a bare-bones cell plan for occasional use). Since I hardly use a cellphone anymore, I wanted to ditch my Verizon Family Plan (and the $85 mo bill) and find a cheap plan. Since I loved their coverage area, I checked for a company that used their network; hence Page Plus. Now, if I had bought a new phone I would have had to pay their $10 Activation fee. But they gave me 100 minutes for free AND ported my old ph# over as I used my existing Verizon phone. THAT’S A HECK OF A DEAL, and Verizon wouldn’t even try to match that when I asked what they would do to retain a 5 year customer. Totally painless experience and their US-based, English speaking customer service ROCKS! So, when I buy their $25 card (300 mins)in 120 days, it will average out to around 6 cents per min for up to 8 months of srvc. This works out to $3.125 per month for cell service (8 mos/400 mins); add another $25/300 min card at end of 7th month (to rollover unused minutes for another 120 days)and the annual first year cost is $50 which is $4.17 monthly. Heck, I’ll cover the 411, roaming, and text msg costs that may occasionally appear and still save a buttload of greenbacks…

Had Tracfone for years but once I found Page Plus I couldn’t believe how much money I had been throwing away! Got the V3C from their website. You have to call customer service for MMS. I can send pictures and email. Customer service is outstanding! They’re always very helpful the few times I’ve needed them.

Would have given 5 stars, but I haven’t been on the service long enough. I activated a Palm Treo with all the bells and whistles for only $.99(99 cents!) from an Ebay auction. Got $12 credit. Prices are good for calling and texting and I like that they last almost 4 months. I use the internt a lot, so I keep up with my usage by logging into the pageplus website and I can do about anything I need. Works great! I don’t need much time, because I use my phone on wifi most of the time and I use PP as a backup/emergency phone. It’s looking real good.

I like all the information I have read and researched about Page Plus. However, they do not have a privacy policy posted on their website. I have contacted them about this and they have informed me they will work to correct this (has not happened as of 2 weeks). I also asked if they could send me a copy of the privacy policy via e-mail and was told they could not. I will not give account and personal information to a company that cannot provide me with a privacy policy. I hope this get this fixed soon.

Like Mike1, I had a used CDMA phone I used with my former Verizon account. Tried to find a store in area who new how to activate it, but all I got were no answers or donut shops/quicky marts who didn’t know a thing. I finally called a Page rep and found out they could activate over the phone, which I did. Since then, it has been just like having my old verizon account back (great coverage, no dropped calls, etc), except now I am paying $100 per year instead of $600 per year. Thanks PagePlus!!

Verizon Wireless has the best system by far. I sell phones for a living and have used all systems. The best part about Page Plus is they use the Verizon Wireless Network and charge a better price per minute. You cannot go wrong with Page Plus. I recommend purchasing a new Verizon phone from Walmart and activate it on Page Plus. You will not be sorry.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. Page Plus is shady and the customer service is horrible. I tried to call on several occasions and there systems are always down. Furthermore, some so called customer service reps would rather hang up on you than explained that their flawed computer system is down once again. The final straw is when they charged phone for calls that did not occur on the day or time they adamantly say they did occurred. I distinctly remember this day because I was traveling home to go to a funeral that weekend and I did not speak with anyone on my cell phone while I was on the road.

i am very happy with their service and pricing policies. I purchased activation on ebay. For $4.99 total I got activation and $10 credit toward minutes. I was able to used an old phone a neighbor was getting rid of from Verizon. In addition, their customer service has been fabulous. I disliked the prefix 666 that I was assigned for my new number, and when I called the CS number from their website, an actual person in the states answered within one minute and fixed the problem for me quickly and politely. Here in Southern California the Verizon coverage is great and thus my page plus coverage has been excellent. I would highly recommend their service to anyone who needs a basic and affordable mobile phone service provider.

According to Page Plus you do not have to purchase a phone from them, so I purchased a compatible phone on e-Bay. I thought that activating the phone would be a simple matter. A rep that I had talked to gave me no information to the contrary. But after the phone purchase I was told by another rep that the phone would have to be activated by bringing it to a store ( if you scour their FAQs you will find no such requirement mentioned ). I knew from using their store locater that they presumably had stores in the area. But I find now that most of the stores are little convenience stores that know nothing of activating a phone, or in at least one case, have never even heard of Page Plus. The only two full fledged phone stores in my area that are affiliated with Page Plus are both apparently out of business.

I like pageplus. They have real good service. If you have a problem ask to speak to a supervisor. Voice mail can be checked from a landline for free in most areas by dialing your cell phone. The only time is if the Local phone company charges more, this is when you will have to call pp to activate it and they will tell you no matter how you check it, you will be charged. It will still use minutes to check your voice mail from your cell phone.

I’ve had Page Plus for several years. It is simply the best. Verizon coverage, dirt cheap, 4 month PINs, and great CS. Use any Verizon phone including a new INpulse phone from Wally World or Best Buy. Activations are as low as $3 on eBay w $100 mins. Or port and get 100 mins too. Data service is coming soon. Don’t let the crappy web site fool you. These guys are just frugal. They ain’t goin’ nowhere.

I activated an old Verizon phone on the PagePlus network and have used it in several states without trouble! One of the best things about PP is the 120 days (that’s four months!!) to use current minutes, then any unused minutes roll over for another 4 months along with the new minutes purchased. And…I think the most awesome thing is that,if you have phones available that were previously activated on the Verizon network, PP can activate any former VZW phone and you don’t have to buy a new phone!!! I can hardly wait for our VZW contract to run out in March ’09…will be activating with PP and saving a bunch of $$$. Keep up the great work, PagePlus!!

I initially had a PP LG flip phone I bought at a mom n’ pop tobacco store in Hilltop, MN that went bonkers on me after recharging once. I went back, got another ($31.20 w/tax) and it has been great! literally 1/3 the price of TracFone w/better network and good (not better) customer service. If tou don’t talk on the phone much and buy cards thru a reseller like me you pay LESS THAN $3.25 a month for a cellphone, How can you beat that??? Less than 11 cents a day for that kind of peace of mind and convenience. If you yak yak yak, I don’t know, but for the occasional user this RULES! For once, the little guy comes out on top! Living in rural Tn. I had problems in finding a cell phone that would work (no service). Tried Net10, Tracfone, AT&T, all the same, “no service”. Friends told me that only Verizon system offered service in our area. Bought a used Motorola off E-Bay, had it activated with Page Plus for $5.99 from a Seller on E-Bay, & it works great here in my rural home. Really glad I found Page Plus at it is very inexpensive, works well, and the couple calls I have made to their customer Service Dept. have been commendable. The Reps. were friendly, helpful, & knew what they were doing. I am very postive about Page Plus & only hope they are successful and stay in business for a LONG time!

I love PagePlus. The service is the same as Verizon but without the Verizon prices. I had service with Verizon and cancelled my contract with them. Then four months later I found out about PagePlus and immediately activated with Ugly Eric. I already had a sweet Verizon phone and only cost 5.99 to activate. Got 100 minutes to start off. The only thing I did not like was that annoying precall message with the minutes left. I called up and they removed it right away. I hear their website is being upgraded soon. I hope so because that would be wonderful. Now they offer night and weekends for .99 a day. Better than Verizon nights only. To top that off, with an 80 refill you get 168 dollars which makes nights and weekends less than .50 a day. How sweet is that? I would suggest anyone to give it a try if not for the 100 minutes, they will even port over your existing number and still give you the minutes with no activation. You try it for 119 days and refill if you like it. I promise you won’t regret it.

Seriously, this is as simple and cheap as cellular gets. I bought it as a backup to ATT coverage – GSM is thin where I live. Yes, they offer refurbed phones…but even AT&T does, and the price is right. Look at the latest lineup of phones they offer. There are four to chose from and they are not cheap junk like the C139 sold new by some. You can even bring your own in, which is what I did (an old Simple Freedom – Alltel Kyocera). No activation fee, 4 months on the airtime, cheap minutes and nice CS people. What more do most people need? If you want new phones, go to Walmart, buy an Impulse and activate with PP.

I switched from Sti Mobile to Page Plus about a month ago. Didn’t have to pay anything (well, maybe a few dollars to mail my old Sti Mobile phone to Page Plus) but got a free phone and over one hour to start. I’m very happy so far. Hope to have a very long stay.

I have used Page Plus on 4 phones for a year and have had great service (they use Verizon network). Best service/price – I’d give them 5 stars if you could set up web account to see usage and if you didn’t have to pay a dealer a charge to switch to a different phone. Even so, I think they are great!

Wow, Good news; If you have any competitive phone, Page Plus Cellular will replaced for free as long you switch your service to Page Plus. I didn’t have to buy new phone inorder to switch to page plus and they gave me 71 minutes free with exchange of my old phone. It is nothing to loose.

I brought a pagePlus Prepaid phone on Feb 23,2007. it said to allow 1 to 2 weeks for delivery. I waited 3 weeks and called. The lady on the other end did not seem to think I have ordered it from PagePlus website. She was Very Rude and made out like I was Stupid! I have been fighting with PagePlus Prepaid for the past 2 months. They Send me a (Free -so-call) el-cheapO phone! However they charged my credit card with $44.75 ! The website had an error and it charged me $10.68 for a $49.95 motorola phone. They charged me the difference of $44.75 on my credit card!My opinion of PagePlus Prepaid Co is a Mom & Pop operation and they do not care about their Customers !! Be forewarned! Stay away from PagePlus Prepaid!! They charge 14 cents a minute even if you call their company to get information! Net10 on the other hand is 10 cents a minute and you can call to get help or setup your phone without any minutes charged against you!! Net10 $15 card is 150 minutes. $30 card is 300 minutes. the $15 card is good for 1 month and the $30 card is good for 2 months. I might add that the net10 phone picks up a lot better in my area without static compared to the pageplus Prepaid card!! The choice is yours but I would give it some thought before I paid for a pageplus prepaid phone as you might not get what you ordered and be charged for it

For a low minutes user as myself, this service has been great. Note: A lot of higher cost roaming as you leave the large cities. Let let your friends know you want a deactivated Verison phone. Somebody will give you one!

I just finished my contract with Cingular and I was paying 49.95/monthly to get 300 Minutes/monthly. With Page Plus I found it more attractive, first no cntract,no monthly bills & nationwide network and the $50 card gives me 425 minutes and I do not have to use it at the same month. Minutes Roll-over for 4 months and to extend more just simply buy another card prior to the 120 days and the old minutes roll-over with the new minutes for another 120 days.
