I signed up for Page Plus service about a month ago & I currently have no complaints. I love the fact that I can use any Verizon or Alltel phone with this service/plan. I am currently using the pink blackberry curve. The customer service wait time sometimes is pretty long, but all the reps have been nothing but nice & helpful to me.

Bought my PP two days ago. I was told it comes with 100minutes. And It didnt! So,I went back to the store I brought it from and they said they’ll contact PP for me. So I went ahead and bout a $10 card. Someone sent a voicemail,i dial 1 for voicemail and BAMM cant get in cuz i dont know the PASSWORD! I tried the last 4 digits of my phone number. 1234 and 0000 still nothing. So i sent a ticket to PP about the problem yesterday. Im waitin for them to contact me..”if they do”. And YES i want my FREE 100 Minutes like i was told the phone would have when i bought it. If i dont get it,im selling this phone on craigslist lol.

The price is great. Customer service could use some improvement, but overall it’s a great deal. My only problem is that I bought a Blitz phone from wal-mart and didn’t find out until after having it activated on pageplus that you can’t get data on any phone that you don’t directly buy from them, and there phones are pretty sucky. So no internet? That’s not something I appreciate!

OOPS…my bad the Samsung Sch U350 for 19.95 at Wally World was labeled the Glint for Alltell.. anyway.. tons of features Voice – both dialing and announcing incoming call alert, external speaker/answer key (correct, you can answer the phone without opening it … also make calls via voice with the phone closed. WARNING don’t activate it on Verizon – buy it, go home, call Page Plus and activate it. After you finally get thru it takes 5 minutes or less. Then, after activated you can take your old phone and the Samsung to a VZ company store and for 10.00(max) they’ll transfer the phone book and other stored info.. I say max cause they waived any charges for me- depends on which rep you get. Know what? I’m going to Wally World today and get another of these Samsungs and just store it – because they are definitely “sleepers” [all the features for 19.95] Figure the “evil V” will get hip to this and 86 these units right out of inventory.. by Verizon standards that’s “too much phone for too little money” and we all know Verizon can’t be having that (you know, letting the customer “win one”)

Actually 4.5 stars. Some of the reps can be grumpy but at least they don’t lie their lips off like the evil V and evil T” The 39.95 plan is pretty straightforward. IF you act fast you can get a Samsung Smooth at Wally World for 19.95. In the Ohio WVA area these are the former Alltell models (gleam) and man are they packed with features…cust svc does take forever to get thru to but look at the positive trade off. ALSO check their revised coverage map — the area in green is the duplicate of the Verizon national coverage (usually in red) even had coverage (non roaming) in “Nowhere Ky.” (in the Ohio/Ky. /WVA tri state area. Pretty decent deal”

The service is Good , however the Customer Service is NOT GOOD, I’ve been trying since 12:30pm to have service switched from Boost Mobile to PagePlus as of now 10:37pm the service is still NOT switched I’ve called PagePluse at total of 8 times today to be put on hold, I had to give the information 3 times to still be put on hold I was told to call back 3 times and I was HUNG UP ON 5 TIMES AFTER WAITING ON THE LINE FOR 20 PLUS MIN. NOW THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SOME OF THEM NEED TO BE RETRAINED ON HOW TO HANDLE THESE TYPES OF CALLS..IT’S APPARENT THAT I’M SWITCHING MY SERVICE FOR A REASON AND YOU ALL HAVE STILL NOT HELPED ME AND THE LAST TIME I WAS HUNG UP ON WAS AT 10:13PM AFTER HOLDING THE LINE FOR 28 MINTUES AND OF COURSE I CALLED BACK TO GET OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED AND ARE OFFICE WILL NOT REOPEN UNTIL TOMMORROW” WHICH IS SATURDAY..COME ON PEOPLE I’VE HAD SERVICE WITH YOU ALL BEFORE YOU BECAME UNLIMITED AND I’VE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM UNTIL TODAY..THERE IS A SAYING OF BITING OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW I THINK YOU ALL NEED TO HIRE SOME MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. I switched from a Verizon Friends and Family plan and my cost have gone from a total ranging between $82.00 and $86.00 to between $40.00 and $42.00. I had one minor issue with setting up my online account but withing 24 hours of submitting a trouble ticket online they were able to have the issue resolved. Otherwise everything went extremely smooth. My number port was completed and my phone was active within 2 minutes of submitting the port request and I was up and going on the $39.95 plan about 5 minutes later. The total time it took to get everything going was around 20 minutes from the time I picked up the phone until the time everything was set.

I was happy with the service until they cut off my phone. It had $53 worth of minutes still unused that had “expired” and were “confiscated” per customer service. Apparently, after 120 days your minutes expire. How wonderful my money gets to fall down another greedy corporate hole. The manager on the phone offered me half the minutes back for 10 more dollars! I was speechless. What a rip off!! Really angry!!

Man… I really don’t understand any of the bad reviews… I’ve been using the service for 4 years and never had issues with customer service. I have 4 phone (ENV3, ENV2, Samsung, and Razer) All bought and activated on ebay – I’ve moved ESNs – gotten back minutes when I forgot to renew, and received AWESOME service each time. Nationwide coverage everywhere I go (over Verizon network) and NO flipping contracts. I pay about 10 to 25 dollars every FOUR months for each phone. The big difference is, I don’t spend every stinking moment talking on it. I use the phones when I have to and don’t attach it to my ear like a facial wart. Wake up and stop being a slave to ATT and Verizon contracts…..

So far so good. Have been with Verizon for 10 years and my only complaint is the cost. I used to use my phone on nights and weekends for long distance, but now get that service on home phone and I like it better. It is much less costly than it used to be as they have to compete with cell services. Cellular is now just for emergencies and occaisional calls when out of the house. My husband didn’t carry his phone ($20/mo for a second line) most of the time. I sent an email question to Page Plus last month and got an answer within 24 hours. Decided to change and called customer service. It’s true I waited 20 min., but I had phone on speaker and was doing other things. I ported both phones to them. The agent was understandable and patient. The portage occured without incident. This morning I called and waited 6 minutes to speak with someone to activate and buy minutes for the phones. Again, a very pleasant and agent who I could understand and was patient with me. Both phones are working. We live in the mountains and have great coverage. So far, so good. Instead of paying $70/mo. + taxes, etc., we’ll be paying $100-200 per year. What a savings! This is a perfect plan for those who use their phones infrequently. I had tried to get a Verizon plan that would save me money. When they found out I was over 65, they told me about a plan that is NOT in their brochure, but it didn’t compare either. I had the Verizon rep check Page Plus on the store internet and he was speechless. So, we’ll give it a try. So far no problems with set up and coverage. If things change, we can always switch.

What happened to your phone service? I can no longer receive voice messages. Callers hear a Verizon Error message each time that instructs them to redial. But, when they do they get the same error message over and over. I have tried to call your customer service number and no one ever answers. What is going on with your service; no one seems to have any contact with you any more. Not even at the phone stores …. they don’t know why you have abandoned everyone. Are you going out of business or do you just don’t care about your customer base any more?

I work as a sales rep for independent dealer of various cell phone providers and have been searching for a company that offers everything I need without being to pricey. Page Plus is it. You can use any Verizon phone to activate service and because they use Verizon’s services everything will work. I have a Verizon Palm Centro on Page Plus, ALL of the features work perfectly. The “plans” are inexpensive and can easily be changed, there is no commitment, and great coverage.

If you buy the PP phone from a dealer and the phone goes out or deosn’t supply the features you were expecting they mentioned on the package – YOU ARE ENTITLED TO A FREE NEW PP PHONE! Why? ONLY IF THE DEALER DON’T MENTION THAT THE PHONES ARE REFURBISHED AND IF THEY DON’T MENTION THE WARRANTY OF THE LIFE OF THE PHONE!! IF THEY GIVE YOU THESE 2 MOST IMPORTANT INFOMATIONS – THEY ARE IN BREACH OF MISREPRESENTATION OF A PRODUCT. It is package as a new product with not wording saying it’s refurbished and may not have all the features influded in the phone. Knowing warranty is very important because most of the phoens I found out have only a 14 to 30 day warranty!!! MOST CUSTOMERS DON’T KNOW THAT! BUT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND THE ATTY GENERAL OF MY STATE AND OHIO ATE WILL!!!

After being a loyal customer of T-Mobile for 3 years, I finally decided to move on mainly because I didn’t call that much but still was charged for $45 per month. After researching around, I decided to try page plus out and now I am glad I did. I got an old verizon phone from a friend and then activate using pageplus online dealer (ebay actually, they activate your pageplus account for $1 and give you $11 worth minutes). And I also called page plus customer service before actually buying service on ebay. They were not that bad as reviews here. I called them around middle of August this year. That was my only experience with their customer service. The lady explained to me how their cellular system works and where I can find a dealer store and so on. Pretty nice. Other things have all been done online. Got activated online, basically through email and certain form and one call. Very smooth. And then is the BEST part — really a money saver and much better coverage than T-Mobile! I only spend around $6 per month for around 80 minutes. And their online customer account is simple and nice too. I can check all my call records there and balance stuff. Their phone selection is really nothing. But nowdays you can buy cdma phone all over the internet. It won’t be a problem I think. And when the minutes run low, I just go to ebay and buy a refill card for $24.89 with no tax or shipping. After refilling, I got $27 and 9 cents per minute rate. Perfect for me. Also one more good thing about it is now it has this plan 1200 minutes 1200 texts and 50mb data for $29.95. It’s a really appealing plan. I will probably enroll that plan we I get less busy and call people more. So overall, it’s a five star cellular company! Btw, I tried ATT pay as you go, too. Too expensive! And I used Sprint monthly plan before, too. Bad coverage!

Although the price may be right for unlimited talk and text on a great network, there is absolutely no way to get a hold of customer service on any of 3 different phone numbers by the average joe. Even my cell phone retailer has to wait on hold for 20 minutes on his direct number to actually talk to someone. The first person he talked to was friendly but didn’t solve the problem of me getting no internet on my brand new phone. The second person he talked to was rude and didn’t help solve the problem either. I have other people in the family anxiously awaiting phones, but we may have to shop around. I am willing to pay extra for a company where customer service actually exists.

This company is a good value. Low cost with great Verizon coverage. It is true that getting a hold of customer service can be tough, but they are quite overwhelmed right now. I ported over both my kid’s numbers within 2 days and everything is fine. You can keep track of your account online and it really is a good value. The one thing that bothers me are the people that complain about things when it is clear that they take no responsibility for learning on their own. They expect everyone else to take care of everything for them. These are the people that should be using the $119 unlimited plan from Sprint or Verizon. Take the time to learn. You can get ring tones and the internet on your phone. You just need to read and educate yourself. That’s why they made Google.Bottom line is this; if you want great coverage at a reasonable price, this is the company to use.

Page Plus is a good value for service. Since they use the Verizon network. I got prepaid 300 min for $25 and unused min last 120 days. The bad, Customer service. When attempting to call you better have speed dial on your phone and when you get through be prepared to wait at least 10 min. Beware the some customer service reps will misguide you.And you will have to keep calling until your situation gets resolved. But that’s the price you have to pay for a phone service that’s fair and reasonable and is getting more and more popular. So I’m satisfied after much communication from customer service.

WHEN STARTING THE DEALER DID NOT TELL US THE $50 WE PAID FOR THE PHONE WAS JUST THAT. WE QUESTIONED HIM IN DETAIL. WE WERE TOLD THAT WHEN WE PAID THE MONEY THAT WAS ALL WE NEEDED TO DO EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING THE SERVICE WE WANTED (39.99 UNLIMITED)WAS INCLUDED. JUST GO ONLINE OR CALL AND THE SERVICE AND PLAN WOULD BE DONE. THIS INCLUDED CHANGING THE PHONES AREA CODE OF 904 TO 912. NONE OF IT WAS TRUE. THE $50.00 ENDED UP BEING THE CHARGE FOR THE PHONE ONLY. WE HAD TO PAY FOR THE PLAN WHEN WE SET UP THE PHONE ON THE PHONE. EVEN THE NUMBER ON OUR PHONE WAS THE WRONG ONE. IN SHORT INSTEAD OF A $50.00 TOTAL WE PAID ALMOST $100.00 TO GET IT ALL STARTED. WHEN WE TRIED TO USE IT AFTER GOING THRU ALL THE SETUP, IT DID NOT WORK. I CALLED AGAIN THE NEXT DAY AND HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. IT NOW WORKS, BUT I CAN’T CHANGE THE PHONE TO MY AREA UNTIL THE NEXT MONTHS PAY CYCLE. SO ALL MY CALL AT HOME HAVE TO BE LONG DISTANCE. THE MORAL OF ALL THIS TO ALL OF YOU, IS TO GET YOUR PHONE FROM A GOOD REP.IN YOUR AREA. GET A RECIEPT, AND IF THEY SAY THAT’S ALL YOU NEED DON’T BELIEVE THEM. IF YOU WANT THE PLAN TO BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE PRICE THEY SHOULD GIVE YOU A CARD THAT YOU BUY FOR THE PLAN ALSO. OR ACTIVATE THE PHONE RIGHT THERE BEFORE YOU LEAVE!! SINCE I JUST ACTIVATED MY PHONE I CAN’T AS YET RATE THE SERVICE. OH, YEA, ROAMING IS EXTRA TO PAY FOR. THE COVERAGE SO FAR IS LIKE A VERIZON PLAN SO ROAMING SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM. BUT EVEN IF THEY CALL YOU AND THEY ARE ROAMING YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE .59 CENTS A MINUTE SO BE AWARE OF ALL THE EXTRA FEES.NOW THAT MINE IS WORKING I FEEL BETTER BUT STILL I WAS VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED LAST NIGHT AFTER EVERYTHING AND IT STILL DID NOT WORK. BUT IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS CALL THEM THEY ARE NICE ON THE PHONE, IT IS JUST HARD TO GET THEM ON THE PHONE. HOPEFULLY THAT WILL CHANGE SOON.

Before I purchased my first cell phone last spring I was told I was buying a Verizon phone. When I finally went in to the T-Mobile store I was sold the PagePlus phone. Never having used a cell phone I trusted the salesman, but was sorry I had. I have since moved out of that state and can NEVER get ahold of PagePlus on the phone, day or night. My phone doesn’t hold a charge well and I was told by a Verizon store in the Midwest that they would not unlock the phone from PagePlus and move the service to Verizon. Recommended I buy a Verizon phone at Target and bring it in to them. I paid $60 for the PagePlus phone and don’t want to throw away that $. Not happy at all!

ARE YOU KIDDING??? Ever since I signed up with pageplus, my life has been hell. First they charged me 4x’s for my account. After 3 phone calls I finally got that resolved. Now for the most bizare part. Two days ago my home phone stopped working. NO SIGNAL! I called Time Warner, no problem on their end, so I had to take 2 hours out from work to exchangs a possible faulty canle modem. Got to Timw Warner, they didn’t have any record of my home phone (I have the triple-play). Their records showed that my HOME phone number had been ported to an “outside” company. There is nothing they can do except tp assign me a new phone number and it will take a MINIMUM of 4 days. 4 days without a home phone!!!!!!! Now, just try calling pageplus tech. You will be put on halod for a GUARENTEED ten minutes (or more) and then MAYBE speak to someone who knows what is going on. Chances are they won’t and then you will HAVE to ask to speak with a supervisor. Get ready to spend at least another ten minutes on hold. Oh yeah, and that is IF their phone number even works!!!!!! So far no resolution on this matter. BUT, I guarantee they have not heard the last from me. Bottom line, I would NEVER recomend Pageplus, except to someone I really do not like….

Have 2 phone one with a new number and one I ported from TMobile. Took approx 3 hrs to port with 2 used phones I purchased off of Ebay. Great service, call quality and coverage in Jax, Fl area. You will have to be careful with roaming since Verizon has blocked some towers from full-time use and is roaming only at .59 per/min. So check coverage map for your area. The price is a flat 39.95 per line, no extra taxes like most plans of 22-25% on top of the plan in taxes. Also to much internet will cost you per kb download, so utube is out, unless you have money to burn. Plan works with majority of Verizon’s phones, used or new, but call them first to vfy a clean ESN before buying a used phone. Very Pleased. Customer service is just overloaded at this time, since there is not a better deal anywhere in the market.

Page Plus is the best prepaid cellular company out there!! I too have had a hard time getting through but it is no suprise that it is because EVERYONE wants what they now offer. Plain and simple, their phone lines are maxed out due to everyone calling. It doesn’t mean that they “suck” or don’t want to help their customers. If you are wanting ringtones, they are available on specific models of phones from Page Plus. Don’t get mad or hate on them because you didn’t bother to find out what phone works for what you want…educate yourself first! Page Plus is great and they are doing an awesome job in the pre-paid industry!

Page Plus is now the premier wireless carrier with a prepaid plan that is better than a contract plan in the Verizon store. Page Plus uses all the Verizon towers nationwide and now has benifitted from the addition of Alltel towers nationwide so, not only is the nationwide coverage excellent the unlimited plan is truly unlimited with as much talking and texting you want to do each month for the lowest price in the nation for only $39.95 and you also receive 20 megabytes of data access or usage with the $39.95 plan. You also can get really nice Verizon cell phones for reasonable prices from some online dealers like pageplusquickshop.com so, don’t believe the old news that you only can use certain handsets on Page Plus. I purchased a blackberry from these guys and they activated it with 100 free minutes. Page Plus is really worry free wireless with great coverage and lowest unlimited talk rate in the nation which is cheaper than buying a conventional peak and off peak minute plan.

I use only a few minutes per month with an occasional text message, so Page Plus is perfect for me. When I first got Page+, I also had a Verizon phone. I compared them side-by-side and there was no difference in coverage or voice quality. Since Verizon acquired Alltel, there’s also more native territory where you don’t have to pay roaming charges. If you don’t use many minutes each month, the Page+ Standard Plan is a true money saver, compared to prepaid plans from the big name carriers.

Simply perfect. I tried Boost Unlmt. twice before coming over to Page Plus. Boost is a scam ,fraud , and joke. Page Plus is the best. I travel alot from Houston to New Orleans to Dallas. Page Plus is like a Toyota/Lexus , very reliable. All thats missing is unlimited data. I purchased the Verizon Blitz from Walmart for 100 dollars and activate it with Page Plus for 39.95. Im very happy. Goodbye Tmobile and yall 200 dollar plus bills.

I was tickled to get Verizon service at such a GREAT price!!! Had great customer service, and the speak english as a first language. I also have Tmobile pay as you go, they do great and for $100 you get 1000 minutes for a year. But I also wanted more coverage. Tried Net10 Their customer service is AWFUL. So then off ebay I ran into page plus. Got a nice phone off ebay and was up and running in a couple days. Thanks

I have put two phones on PP in the last two weeks and I am very pleased with the Customer Service, coverage and prices that I’m receiving. I ported one phone on Friday afternoon in 1 1/2 hours from Straight Talk. The reps were fantastic and very helpful. I keep hearing about all the problems people are having getting through but all I had to do is hang up redail and I was in the que for about 5-10 minutes. I LOVE Page Plus after having Straight Talk and TracFone.

1) Their toll-free tech/customer support can’t handle the volume. Customers end up with “all circuits are busy” message or hold up waiting for an answer. 2) Even if you get connected, the support quality is less than stellar. 3) If you want to port a number, it gets even worse. 4) There is only one contact number to call. The website doesn’t offer any other way to contact them — email or messaging.

I Agree with everything Chris said. And the best part is you can bring pretty much any verizon handset to use on there service as long as the esn is clear. And talk text and pix messaging works with there unlimited plan. Which is a great price. Highly recommended except for those i phone lovers out there of course. Some reps are nicer then others but thats a given. I think they have been overwhelmed since launching the plan. I had a slight prob making a phone change but was finally resolved. Well worth it!

Pageplus is the wireless worlds’ best kept secret. Unlimited talk and text plan cant be beat at 40 bucks per month. Call quality is superd and crystal clear off the Verizon network. Customer service can get overloaded at times but representatives are polite, knowledgeable, and speak english clearly without accent. It blows ghetto cricket service out of the water and beats Boost mobile as well. Its nice to have top notch phone service quality without paying 100- 150 dollars a month (thats a car payment for some).

I’ve been a Page Plus customer over 2 yrs. Service is very affordable. Some have criticized the Page + due to meager selection of phones. However, they helped me unlock my Kyocera 7135 and it’s been cruise all the way. I don’t give 5 stars because they offer no web or e-mail services.

If you don’t make a lot of calls and are super frugal (ie: cheap) like me, then Page Plus is great! I ported my number from Verizon Wireless to PP and I’m still on the same Verizon network, same phone, same number. Only difference is now I’m paying only for calls I actually make, not a monthly free like I was before. In the end I’ll probably end up spending about 60 or 80 dollars a year instead of 30 dollars a month like I was before. PP is great!

I switched my son from a Tphone for the texting bundle. The customer service people don’t tell you that you can’t add to the text bundle before it expires. I added money to the account because he had used all of his texts and was told that my son could use his phone within an hour. He did and before ten texts were done, he was out of texts again! Only after calling and complaining to a CS manager did we find out that the money couldn’t be applied to the texts, but ONLY to talk time. SO when he texted, it came out of talk time at 8 cents per text! We couldn’t add more text until the month was up! I blew $10 for nothing. Not only did they not apologize, they refused to refund the $10!!

Face it, one of life’s guaranteed certanties is – “you deal with a cellular provider, you’re gonna get hammered” At least with Page Plus the BOHICA (bend over here it comes again) factor is less than with the national big three or even Tfone/Nt10. Add to that the ability to use the Verizon 3G network for smartphones and the deal gets even better. And, starting 8-7-09, there will be some very attractive rate plans to hook up with, and still no contracts!500 Min/Txt – $19.95 mo.1200 Min/Txt+20MB – $29.95 mo.Unlimited 24/7 Min/Txt+20MB – $39.95 mo.5GB EVDO – $44.95 mo.Who can beat that?

I have had this provider for about 3 years now and I can vouch for most of the complaints on here, the fee they charge for 300 min. ($25) and ($50)for 700 min. is a total RIP-OFF and I agree with others your min. dissappear after making a few calls and if you READ a text message or call long distance you get SCREWED by pageplus taking BIG min. from your account. Customer service has been OK the phone I got from one of my customers so I’m OK with the phone it did not come from them. Less than evil of other providers if you are looking for cheap service is to use CRICKET PAYGO it’s a $1, $2, $3 per day and you pay for only the day you use your phone (calls, answers calls, read text message or call long distance) they eat your dollar up with fee’s if you don’t know what they charge for. ALL CELL PHONE COMPANIES ARE A RIP-OFF and our elected officials let them do it as long as they (cell operators) pad their pockets with special interest money. This does not apply to the store owners they don’t set the policy they are just caught in the mess.
