Cricket releases its own navigation software

Cricket wireless customers. They company has just released Cricket Navigator, which is exactly what the name implies. It’s a native navigation application that provides turn-by-turn voice directions. The application is powered by Telecommunication Systems, which used to be Networks In Motion. I actually have a NIM flash drive sitting in front of me right now. At CTIA 2009 I had a long conversation with Steve Andler, their VP of Marketing, and came away thoroughly impressed. In any case, Navigator will come as a free add-on with the $50 and $60 plans, and with a $5 fee for the $30 and $40 plans. It’s available now on the Samsung MyShot II, but it should hit more devices soon, with every device getting it by the end of the summer. ]]>
